The
950m-long Tree Top Walk in the Sedim River Recreation Park is the
longest canopy walk in the world. And it's the spectacular view you get
when you stroll through the jungle canopy that draws visitors from far
and wide to this quiet, all-natural corner of Kedah.
Strolling
high above the ground of this primeval rainforest affords visitors an
unexpected and exciting perspective. Call it a 'monkey's eye view'.
Visitors will enjoy the fabulous sight of rushing streams and truly
fascinating flora and fauna - all from 50m up!
Key
Tips
Wear good walking shoes and bring lots of water and perhaps a light
snack because the walk to the Tree Top Walk takes you along a short
jungle trail. And once on the walkway, there are no opportunities to
buy refreshments.
How
to get there
By Road From
Kuala Lumpur, take the North South Highway (NSE) and take the exit at
Seberang Jaya, into the Butterworth - Kulim Expressway (BKE) and then
proceed to Mahang.
