Beginning
at the town of Kuala Krai, the River Cruise winds its way upriver
through virgin rainforests to the town of Dabong. As you pass through
timeless tropical forests and a number of riverine communities, the
secrets of the jungle will slowly reveal themselves to you.
You
may catch a glimpse of shy jungle wildlife. Kingfishers, eagles and
hornbills are everywhere, along with various species of monkeys.
Elephants are known to inhabit this area as well...
Key
Tips
A hat, sunblock, bug repellant and a bottle of water are a must on this
soft adventure as you'll be spending most of the day outdoors.

to get there
By Bus Take
Bus No. 5 which leaves the Kota Bahru terminal at 7.45 every morning
for Kuala Krai. At Kuala Krai, take a boat which leaves at 10.00 am for
Dabong. It is a 2-hour boat ride. The boat back to Kuala Krai leaves
Dabong at 3.15 pm.
